As a resident of the neighbourhood you may be eligible to apply.
Our Mission
Although in existence for centuries, in its current form the Charity was established from the sale of the Old School building on Heathman Street in 1991.
The Objects of the Charity are to provide funds for the betterment of the Nether Wallop community in 3 key areas: education across all age groups, support for the elderly and those in immediate need, and funding for community projects that benefit health and well being.
The Trustees are always open to ideas and initiatives and would welcome any proposals that fit within the charity's objectives.
The whole Parish of Nether Wallop (Parish boundary as detailed in the map) is considered to be in the neighbourhood of Nether Wallop
Some of our projects
New exercise equipment
and shelter
In 2022 the Charity fully funded the purchase and installation of adult exercise equipment, a children’s Zip Wire and a timber shelter on the village playing field.
A defibrillator was also purchased and installed in the playing field pavilion.
Supporting Education
One of the core objectives of the charity, dating back to its earliest origins, has been supporting village education. Today, the charity provides grants to students pursuing A levels, university studies, apprenticeships, or vocational training. A call for applications for these grants is usually made in August each year.
In addition, the charity gives an annual grant to both the Nether Wallop Pre-School and Primary School.
